Experience Leopoldstadt, Imperial hunting grounds, amusement district & the Jewish ghetto!

We start the discovery of the exciting history of Vienna's second district, Leopoldstadt, with a imperial hunting ground, the Prater, walking along the former Jägerzeile, 'hunters lane',later the entertainment district of Vienna, reaching Taborstrasse. Together we explore the former Jewish ghetto, pass by at Leopoldskirche, the church that Leopold I built on top of the synagogue he had destroyed before. Continuing to the another imperial hunting ground, the Augarten, to the former favourite palace of Emperor Josef II, the Favorita, his favorite hunting lodge, where the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory has its production facility today. We'll end the tour with an optional drink at the restaurant Sperling, the place where Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert used to give concerts.
